JOURNALIST, SOCIALITE PEACHES GELDOF DEAD AT 25; CAUSE STILL UNKNOWN

A woman at the age of 25 could have a promising life waiting for her. It's different in the case of Peaches Geldof.

Writer, TV presenter and model Peaches Geldof was found dead at her Kent home on Monday for still unknown reasons. She is 25 years old at the time of her untimely demise.

Initial reports from Kent Police stated that her death is still being treated as unexplained and sudden. "We have provided no other detailed information about what was or wasn't found at the house in Wrotham," a spokesman for the Kent Police said.

Geldof's condition was reported by a concerned citizen in the neighborhood. She was pronounced dead in the scene after paramedics and police officers tried to revive her.

A post-mortem examination is currently being conducted by a pathologist to determine the reason of Geldof's death. Report on the findings will be submitted to North West Kent Coroner Roger Hatch as soon as the batteries of tests will be completed.

Peaches is survived by her second husband, Thomas Cohen and her two sons.

Cohen, lead singer of the band S.C.U.M. said in a statement that their family is heartbroken upon hearing the news. "My beloved wife Peaches was adored by myself and her two sons Astala and Phaedra and I shall bring them up with their mother in their hearts every day. We shall love her forever."

Peaches' father, Bob Geldof, the architect of Band Aid, also said in a statement that their family in pain with the death of her daughter. "We are beyond pain."

He remembered his daughter as "wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us."

Like Cohen, he also expressed love to his daughter.

The death of Peaches is the recent addition to the Geldof family's tragedies. Her mother, Paula Yates died at the age of 41 from heroin overdose in 2000.

Moments before she died, Peaches uploaded a sweet and poignant image of her and her mother via microblogging site, Twitter. She tweeted, "me and my mum."

Peaches started writing for the UK edition of Elle Girl during her teenage years. She also contributed articles and columns for The Guardian and The Daily Telegraph. She has had modeling stints and television shows including the talk show OMG! with Peaches Geldof. Prior to her marriage with Cohen, she was married to Max Drummey until they divorced months later.
