IDINA MENZEL, WICKED WITCH STARS IN A NEW BROADWAY MUSICAL “IF/THEN” AFTER BEING WRONGLY INTRODUCED IN THE OSCARS,DOES “ADELE DAZEEM” SOUNDS AS A NEW GOOD NAME FOR THE ACTRESS?

Idina Menzel, Wicked star continues to bring fame in her name despite of being wrongly introduced during the Oscars last March of this year.

Broadway icon Menzel is now becoming more famous that her name is already being mixed up. Idina Menzel as a performer on stage has impressed more people as she played and sang for the role of Queen Elsa in the box-office hit animated film, Frozen. Her voice is powerful and many are swept off in their feet as she sang during the Oscars even though she was definitely wrongly introduced.

The singer-actress rose to fame as she began performing in different theater stage. Her breakthrough performance was the time she became a part of the musical, Rent in 1995 wherein she also met his husband, Taye Diggs. Idina Menzel, Wicked star received a Tony nomination for her performance in the said musical. From there, she appeared more in many different Broadway shows.

In 2004, Idina Menzel Wicked performance received a Tony Award for Best leading Actress in a Musical wherein she portrayed the character of Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West. As she continue to perform for the musical, she suddenly met an injury that stopped her from doing her last performance.In 2005, Idina Menzel Wicked witch role was halted when she fell through a trap door and broke her ribs.

The Broadway star even became famous as she sang for the role of Queen Elsa in Frozen, an animated film released on 2013. Her rendition of Frozen's "Let it Go" was praised by many especially her performance during the Oscars. The song actually won an Academy Award for Best Original Song.

Idina Menzel Wicked days might be over but the actress now stars in a new Broadway musical, "If/Then" that talks about a woman struggling with the choices that change her life. The actress' name also became an internet meme when actor John Travolta introduced her name as "Adele Dazeem" before her performance in the Oscars.
