According to authorities a shooting at Fort Hood, Texas happened today, and four people died out of the incident, including the shooter, who managed to injure 11 other people.

Reports circulating within the Justice Department claim that the gunman - identified as Spc. Ivan Lopez - died due to a self-inflicted wound.
Rep. Mike McCaul, Chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security, confirmed to CNN that four people had died because of the shooting at Ft Hood today.
President Obama, who was reportedly informed by the media about the incident, said, "We're following it closely. The situation is fluid right now ... I want to just assure all of us we are going to get to the bottom of exactly what happened ... We're heartbroken something like this might have happened again."
The A&M Central Texas campus says that classes at Fort Hood and at the Fairway building are cancelled for Wednesday.
Reports about the incident are conflicting as of late. CNN and CBS News reported that the shooter is dead. Meanwhile, NBC News reported that a shooter is in custody and that authorities are still looking into the possibility of having more than one shooters.
