The hit comedy series ends this week as viewers get the much-awaited vision of what really happens to the "Mother" in 2030.
As much as some spoilers may show what could air on How I Met Your Mother Season 9 Finale, the spoilers just aren't as good as the real thing. Creators and producers of the show have kept mum on what happens to the Mother in 2030 since its 9th season premiered in September of last year.
How I Met Your Mother Season 9 Finale episodes 23 and 24 will be airing on CBS, Monday at 8 p.m. The aptly titled "Last Forever Parts One and Two" hour-long episode will finally see Ted finishing the story of how he met his kids' mother.
A spoiler clip from How I Met Your Mother Season 9 Finale shows Marshall talking "only positive" about his job as a corporate lawyer. Amidst the show's comedy genre, there have been speculations around the net that the Mother will die in 2030 and Ted will have Alzhheimer's disease.
Still, producers of the show have maintained that the show will have a happy ending.
A TV Guide interview revealed Director Pam Fryman saying, "People are so sure and they have such an opinions about what they think is going to happen, but nobody is 100 percent right. I think people will be happy with the way this plays out. It's a great ending."
How I Met Your Mother Season 9 Finale is certain to be "legen..wait for it...dary!" and will make fans shed a tear or two, just like any other much-loved long-running series.
