Shailene Woodley's dating adventures are the talk of the town lately, especially now that the young actress is starring in two of the most talked about films: 'Divergent' and 'The Fault in Our Stars.' But who is Shailene Woodley dating really?
While many sites report that the 22-year-old actress is already exclusively dating her 'Divergent' co-star Theo James, it seems that everyone was surprised when Woodley revealed her bisexuality lately.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Shailene Woodley's dating life is nothing but colorful as she bluntly revealed that she likes both sexes.
"I fall in love with human beings based on who they are, not based on what they do or what sex they are," the 'Divergent' lead actress told THR.
Interestingly, Shailene once told 'Seventeen' way back in 2010 that her best friend is a lesbian. But she didn't say anything if she and her friend were dating that time.
"[My best friend] Rachel and I have a great relationship. I've always been able to tell her anything and she's always been able to tell me anything, so, if anything, I was super stoked that she finally was able to express herself completely about being a lesbian," Shailene said. "It didn't change anything in our relationship. I think some girls might get irked out by it, like, 'Oh my God, she's looking at me this way.' It's not the case. Being gay or straight, I'm not going to look at every guy and think every guy is attractive. She's not going to look at every girl and think every girl is attractive. She's attracted to a certain type just like I'm attracted to a certain type."
Now because of her undeniable chemistry with her 'Fault in Our Stars' co-actor, (who apparently plays his brother in 'Divergent'), many were thinking that Shailene Woodley's dating Ansel Elgort. But all of the speculations were proven wrong when the actress told E! News that she simply considers Elgort as a brother.
"He's sort of like my brother in real life." she said, noting that they made an "amazing" transition from the sci-fi movie to the much-anticipated movie adaptation of John Greene's best-selling book.
"Naturally, we get along so well...so to go from a movie where we were so comfortable with each other to a movie where vulnerable action was necessary, it was nice to have somebody that we could just really rest in each other's arms and not feel like we had to get to know each other," Shailene added. "We really wanted to make sure we gave justice to the characters, because the way that they were described in the book was so sensitive and so vulnerable and yet powerful at the same time."
Meanwhile, although several sites claim that Shailene Woodley's dating 'Divergent' co-star Theo James, JobsnHire reported that they are not involved in a romantic relationship just yet.
In 2013, the 22-year-old actress dated Shiloh Fernandez, according to WhosDatedWho. The site also listed Theo James as Shailene's current boyfriend.
