Fleetwood Mac Tour 2014 will be joined by Christine McVie who hasn't been venturing with the group for nearly 16 years.
Announcement has been made that the classic rock group, Fleetwood Mac tour 2014 is about to happen starting on September 30, this year. Band member Christine McVie is officially back with the group to perform after almost 16 years. The tour will be named "On With The Show" which will begin in Minneapolis and then across North America with 34 shows in 33 cities.
The news of Christine McVie joining the Fleetwood Mac tour 2014 was confirmed as she reunited with her band mates Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks in an interview with Carson Daly on the Today show. Christine McVie left the group on 1998 with numerous reasons such as missing her native England. When asked in the Rolling Stone why she quit the band in 1998, the singer said that she initially developed a fear in flying and that she's also tired of the road and eventually got tired of travelling.
McVie also shared that prior to her departure on 1998, there's no tiny chance that she will be joining the group but that statement is no longer valid since it is already confirmed that she will be with Fleetwood Mac tour 2014. The band was formed in 1967 in London and the only original member present is the drummer, Mick Fleetwood.
The upcoming list of songs to perform during their Fleetwood Mac Tour 2014 is still being worked out though some of their most recognizable hits such as 'Little Lies', 'You Make Loving Fun', 'Songbird' and 'Everywhere' were mentioned.
Christine McVie's ex-husband and band mate John McVie will join the tour despite of his health condition. John McVie is still undergoing chemotherapy after being diagnosed with cancer last year.
Tickets for the Fleetwood Mac tour 2014 will go on sale this March 31 through Live Nation.
