During the interview, Alyson Hannigan, 'How I Met Your Mother' star admitted that she was the one who "definitely" cried the most as soon as filming of the beloved show wrapped up for its finale.
But, as Alyson Hannigan, 'How I Met Your Mother' star revealed on Tuesday's 'Jimmy Kimmel Live', ninety nine of the HIMYM family during the last day pretty much shed some tears as they said their goodbyes. The just-turned-40-year-old actress added that this is in part because everyone pretty much knew that they aren't going to see each other as much anymore.
The beautiful redhead said in the interview, "Ninety-nine percent of the room was crying. That's executives and everything." Alyson Hannigan, 'How I Met Your Mother' star has played Lily Aldrin in the CBS show for all of its nine seasons. She added, "I killed a lot of trees with my crying!"
"We all do love each other so much," Hannigan said. "We were laughing and crying-it's not a sad show-but it's very lovely." She also said she did her grieving during the last episode because she "sort of knew" seeing her work pals as much isn't very likely.
Hannigan aptly teased 'How I Met Your Mother' with the ending statement, "I think the writers really wrapped it up the way the fans wanted it to be wrapped up," she said coyly, "and they're going to answer all the million questions that everybody has. And more."
Alyson Hannigan, 'How I Met Your Mother' star became a mom in the series, and she is also currently a mom of two in real life. She is married to husband Alexis Denisof.
