Taylor Swift Restraining Order: Granted Against 'I'll Kill Anyone' Stalker, 3 Years Of Protection [VIDEO]

Taylor Swift's restraining order was granted Tuesday, March 25, for the 24-year-old singer against a stalker who allegedly threatened to "kill any man" who came between him and the Swift. According to the 'Associated Press', Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Carol Boas Goodson ordered Sweet to stay 100 yards away from the country-pop superstar for next three years. Taylor Swift's restraining order is aptly due since the stalker vowed to murder anyone who came between them, including Secretary of State John Kerry, Swift claims.

The blonde-beauty obtained a temporary restraining order earlier this month against Timothy Sweet, the man who believed him to be married to the singer. Taylor Swift's restraining order was granted Tuesday and has a validity of up to 3 years. Also encompassed in the restraining order are Swift's parents, whom Sweet is also forbidden to go near to because Sweet has also threatened to harm them.
Taylor Swift's restraining order sprang from Timothy Sweet harassing Swift since January 2011. Swift claims Sweet has been bombarding her with emails, letters, and social media posts professing his love for her since 2011.

A sworn declaration was filed earlier this month by the Grammy winner, before Taylor Swift's restraining order was granted. In the sworn declaration, she wrote: "Mr. Sweet's course of conduct, including threats to harm my family, are seriously alarming and harassing and are extremely distressing to me and my family."

In addition to the messages and threats of harm to the famous singer's family, another cause for Taylor Swift's restraining order against Sweet is that he has been to the singer's homes in Beverly Hills and Nashville. Sweet did not attend the hearing on Tuesday and didn't respond to Taylor Swift's restraining order petition.

Several online messages to the entertainer, attributed to Sweet, were among the court filings, including one that read, "Dearest Taylor, I'll kill any man who gets in the way of our marriage."

Taylor Swift's restraining order covers Taylor's parents, as well as her homes and places where she works in Los Angeles and Nashville.
