MALAYSIA AIRLINES SEARCH TEAM FOUND NOTHING AS DAY 2 QUEST FOR MISSING PLANE ENDS; MORE HELP ON THE WAY!

The Malaysia Airlines search team for the missing plane found not a sighting of debris or anything that will provide a clue on the lost jet at the end of the second day of the international search and rescue operation by various countries, BBC reported Friday.

According to the report, the international operation is set to commence again on Saturday. Extra vessels will be joining the search for the missing Malaysia Airlines plane, Australian officials said.

The operation is currently being carried out in the Southern Indian Ocean, and at least five aircraft vessels were used in the Friday search.

It can be noted that flight MH370 vanished on March 8 along with the 239 on-board passengers and pilots, without a trace on where the plane has gone to.

Reports state that satellite images of the missing Malaysia Airlines jet were found in waters far south-west of Western Australia, but it wasn't confirmed if the objects spotted were indeed referring or related to the said flight.

On Thursday - the official start of the search operation - the search operation was hampered by bad weather, but the following day the weather condition improved.

Several experts already warned the authorities that battling the treacherous seas is very dangerous and that a recovery operation is very unlikely to be realized.

The Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) confirmed Friday that the search operations for the missing Malaysian Airlines plane were ceased.

Meanwhile, BBC reported that other countries are deploying additional assets to the search. Malaysian Transport Minister Hishammuddin Hussein revealed that some of the countries that are extending their support to the operation include China, Japan, and the United Kingdom.

Hussein added that a French delegation "with considerable experience and expertise" will also be assisting in the following days. The said team "includes a man who led the investigation into the Air France (Flight) 447 crash."

"A gut-wrenching business for so many people, not least those who are charged with keeping their citizens safe," this is how Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott described the situation. "It's about the most inaccessible spot that you can imagine on the face of the earth, but if there is anything down there, we will find it."

As of late, police are considering various angles why flight MH370 has gone missing. Some possibilities they are looking at right now include: hijacking, sabotage, terrorism and even issues related to the mental health of the pilots.
