7- year old girl receives standing ovation

7- year old Angelina Jordan Asta captivated the crowd gaining her a standing ovation.

Asta's performance in Norway's Got Talent helped her to continue her performance to the next level. The seven- year old girl stunned the audience and judges with her performance that gained her a standing ovation from the crowd. Angelina Asta sang her rendition of Billie Holiday's "Gloomy Sunday".

The judges were in awe of the girl's performance. One of them was even in tears while watching her dramatic voice performs. Nobody would almost believe that she is just a seven year- old girl.

The cute little girl who wowed the crowd has taking singing lessons for four years. She also said to the Norwegian station that she understood the song very well. Moreover, she also revealed that she came across with the song when she was browsing YouTube, looking for a song that would take her to sleep.

The song Gloomy Sunday was originally written by Rezső Seress, a Hungarian pianist and composer. The song was actually described it as the "Hungarian Suicide Song" due to the urban legend that claims people committed suicide with this song playing. The song depicts such a sad story.

Moreover, the little singer sang in such a dramatic way. It's as if she is really feeling the emotion the song is trying to convey to its listeners. Videos of Angelina Asta's performance had actually gone viral in the internet gaining comments and praises across the globe. With the kind of performance she delivered to the judges, they have unanimously decide to allow the little girl step into the next round of the competition.

'I felt something special about it, it's hard to explain in words. When I sang it for my mum, she said that this song is nice, but it was incredibly sad song.' Asta said.
