Looking for some Best Value Hotels? Look no further. As part of its picks for the World's Best Hotels for 2014, Lonely Planet has come up with a list on the Best-Value Accomodations.
To come up with a list of the World's Best Hotels, Lonely Planet asked its network of expert travel writers to submit their choices for the best-of- the-best in three categories: "Most Extraordinary Places to Stay", "Best-Value Accommodations" and "Top Eco Retreats". An in-house panel then chose the top 10.
LonelyPlanet.com Editorial Director and World's Best Hotels panelist Tom Hall says, "We're delighted with our first-ever list of World's Best Hotels. This collection is one-of-a-kind, carefully curated by the most well- traveled people on earth. We've been giving trusted recommendations to travelers for over 40 years at Lonely Planet. Our authors provide their honest opinion and never take freebies in exchange for positive coverage so you can trust our reviews."
The picks for the best-value hotels comes from authors who visited thousands of hotels and guesthouses. The authors know the power of good value and how important it is the stretch out your money during a trip.
Each place on the top 10 has character, comfort and charm and all over them cost under $100 per night. Some even have dorm beds for just a few dollars.
