The skier added, "Now that I'm at the Olympic Games, these photos that I never before saw are being shared. It is sad."
She is now pleading people "to stop spreading this" as the issue dying down could potentially help her focus better on what's really important, and that is her training and race for the Olympics.
Meanwhile, Youth and Sports Minister Faisal Karami ordered the the Lebanese Olympic Committee "to carry out the necessary investigation for the leak of the photos in a way that does not affect Lebanon's reputation."
Karami told CNN, "My main concern was not to affect Lebanon's participation in the Sochi Olympics. The Lebanese Olympic Committee held a meeting and concluded that this will not affect Lebanon's participation in Sochi, and that the matter according to the International Olympic Committee, is a matter of personal freedoms."
Lebanon is considered one of the most socially liberal Arab states.
