A Catholic Bishop, known as the 'Bishop of Bling' used millions of euros of children's charity money to build a new headquarters.
The disgraced German bishop used almost 31 million euros of cash reserved for good causes to fund his lavish lifestyle.
The Bishop of Limburg, Franz-Peter Tebartz-van Eist was suspended by the Pope in October after a public outcry and a media storm over where the money had come from for his lavish new headquarters in Hesse, Germany, which led him to be dubbed the 'Bishop of Bling'.
A church investigation into the spending, which famously includes his 350,000 euro wardrobes, is expected to be fully published this week.
However, the report has already stated he used millions of euros from charitable institutions fr his HQ. The building was partly funded by money from charitable foundation St Georgwerkes, which was a religious charity for homeless and poor families and children. The organisation is no longer active, but it helped many families who were struggling since it began in 1949.
The report also states he used money meant for at least one other charity organisation.
According to reports, the actual total of the HQ is thought to be closer to 40 million euros and will probably result in a criminal investigation into the Bishop's activity.
This comes as another blow to the Catholic Church after earlier reports from last year included links to covered-up instances of pedophilia, which went all the way to the Vatican.
