(VIdeo): Man climbs 2,500 foot wall in Mexico without ropes

Professional climber Alex Honnold has done it again. On January 15, 2014 the real life spider man climbed what might be the hardest, gear less rock climbing route in the history of the sport, El Sendero Luminoso, 2,500 foot route that tops out on the large rock formation known adequately as El Toro.

The footage is the absolute epitomy of palm sweating suspense. Watching a man climb to heights that some airplanes fly at, without the gear to save him from a fall is enough to make you kneel down and kiss the ground yourself.

This isn't the first unroped or 'free solo' climb Alex Honnold has done. The daredevil climber has scaled walls in Yosemite and all over the world including Africa and now Mexico.

According to outsideonline.com, Honnold said shortly after the climb, "It felt pretty straightforward. Once I started up, I was like, this is awesome. I didn't blow a single foot-like a ballerina."
