Glamorizing Anorexia? Biggest Loser Sparks Eating Disorder Controversy After Winner Rachel Frederickson Appears 'Anorexic'

Rachel Frederickson, a former athlete applied for 'The Biggest Loser' after growing to 260lbs. She won 'The Biggest Loser' after shrinking down to an unbelievable 105lbs, but the show has sparked debate about encouragement of eating disorders after Rachel appeared 'far too thin' for many people.
Viewers took to social media after the finale to vent their concern, claiming the show was 'glamorizing anorexia' and her huge 150lb weight loss was 'dangerously unhealthy' in such a short time.

Comments were left on the facebook page, such as " I never felt so awkward watching this show with my daughter. Then her selfish mother cheering her on WTH?!!! I would never allow my daughter to look like that for no amount of money!!! Shame on her! Rachael is anorexic and looks like she's 40 and sick, she is all skin and bones....not cool at all!!!"

Rachel Frederickson, a former athlete, who was distraught at her weight gain, was barely recognizable after losing almost 60% of her body weight at her $250,000 crowning as winner of the popular weight-loss show. Rachel cut a slimline figure in her silver dress as she accepted her prize, with celebrity trainer Jillian Michaels mouthing "Oh my GOD!" as she walked on stage.

Rachel earlier said the show had turned her from "an unhappy, sad girl into this girl that is so confident."

An already eliminated contestant, Tumi Oguntala, took home the second prize of $100,000 after discovering a love of running and dropping from 319lbs to 144lbs. Tumi now plans to run a marathon.
