It's not just the Samsung Galaxy S5 that has been making a lot of rumor rounds these days. This time, it is the Samsung Galaxy Glass that is soon to go viral for a lot of the Korean tech giant's fans. Could this mean that Samsung is all prepped up to compete even with Google Glass?
A reporter from the Korea Times stated on January 26 that an unnamed executive of Samsung has been talking about the possible launching of the Galaxy Glass, The Anchor Online wrote. There are even greater possibilities that it would be revealed on September in time for the IFA Trade Show to be held in Berlin. As to whether this information is true or just a rumor remains uncertain.
The reporter, Kim Yoo-Chul was quoted on describing the all new smart glass that will go head to head with Google Glass. It is interesting to note too that the design patent for the new wearable device has already been registered officially by the Korean Intellectual Property Office sometime in October last year. It was described as "sport glasses" whose technology is related to that of the smartphones.
On the other hand, Google Glass team is already putting efforts on their ad campaigns for the product by rendering teasers on the frames and the shades of the wearable device.
The official website of the Google Glass stated the following:
"We want you to be the first to know that the Titanium Collection is here, with a handful of new styles for Glass so you can make it your own. Whether you wear prescription glasses or just want a new look, we've got four feather-light titanium frames designed just for you. And if you need prescription lenses and have vision insurance (such as VSP), your policy might even help cover your new frames."
