It seems that many Americans have had it with Justin Bieber's antics that the "Deport Justin Bieber" petition reached a staggering 100,000 signatures already.
The petition against the pop star was submitted to the White House's "We The People" website six days ago. As of today, the website already has over 118,669 signatures.
The petition cites "We the people of the United States feel that we are being wrongly represented in the world of pop culture. We would like to see the dangerous, reckless, destructive, and drug abusing, Justin Bieber deported and his green card revoked,"
The Canadian star is believed to be "a terrible influence on our nation's youth", according to non-Beliebers.
This petition was spurred through a series of bad behaviours by the 19-year-old singer. A month ago, he was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs. Another month he was arrested for allegedly egging a neighbor's house in California. He also went drag racing in Florida.Today, Justin Bieber has been charged for assaulting a limousine driver last month.
This string of bad behaviours from Bieber shows a lack of respect for the country he makes money from. It brought on a flurry of angry citizens showing the Biebs to be undeserving to work in American soil through the petition.
With this current number of signatures, the White House is now forced to respond to the public and look into the matter. An entry of 100,000 signatures automatically activates a mandatory response from the President Obama himself. However, it may take weeks, months and even years before the White House to respond since there is no limit to the time when a petition has to be addressed.
Nobody knows what the future holds for Justin Bieber, only President Obama can decide that, or if more signatures are acquired, an answer from the White House may not take months after all.
