An 80-year old Iranian man by the name of Amou Haji is believed to be the world's dirtiest man who happens to have stomach-turning smoking habits.
In a report by Huffington Post, Haji has been living in an isolated village called Dejgah in the Iranian province of Fars. He enjoys smoking animal dung and occasionally if that's not in his pipe, he likes to smoke regular cigarettes as well, five at a time.
He believes his drastic change in lifestyle was prompted by his emotional rollercoaster ride when he was young. He eventually led a life of isolation, which the thought of a bath angers him. He also believes that if he ever takes a bath, he might get sick.
One time, he recalls being chased by people who wanted to give him a bath but he managed to escape uncleansed.
Haji is also appalled by the idea of eating clean food. He survives by eating rotten porcupine meat. As for water, he seems to be more than satisfied to collect from a rust oil can filled with water. For shelter, he lives in a hole in the ground, which he calls his bed but looks like a grave or at times in an open-brick shack villagers nearby have built for him.
While he may not be a fan of taking a bath, Haji still cares about how he looks. In a report by Tehran Times, he claims that all he needs to do is to look at a mirror he got from what used to be his car. When he does need a little trimming, he burns his locks off.
When it gets cold during the winter, he has an old army helmet enough for him to keep himself warm.
If Haji's claims are true, him not bathing for over 60 years will give him a world record, one that would out beat Kailash Singh, a 66-year old Indian man who hasn't taken a bath for 38 years.
