If Rick Dyer is to be believed, Bigfoot exists, or existed. Dyer, a self-proclaimed professional Bigfoot hunter, alleges to have killed the mythical creature on September 6, 2012 and now has presented the photo evidence. Previously, rough documentary footage of a film called "Shooting Bigfoot" was the only confirmation that Dyer could present to prove his claim.
Dyer claims he tracked his Bigfoot in Texas and found him with the help of tips from homeless people in the area. In a forest region of Highway 151 and Loop 1604 in San Antonio, Dyer lured the creature with ribs that he had purchased from Walmart. When the Bigfoot attempted to feed off the ribs, which were secured to a tree, Dyer shot him.
Dyer believes that his video close-up of the deceased Bigfoot's face almost completely covered in hair will help to confirm his claim. Speaking to KSAT Channel 12, the ABC affiliate television station in San Antonio, Dyer said, "Every test that you can possibly imagine was performed on this body -- from DNA tests to 3D optical scans to body scans," in an attempt to sway any doubters.
Dyer has claimed to have killed Bigfoot in the past, however that incident was later uncovered as a hoax as it was discovered to be an ape costume filled with meat. He claims this one to be "100 percent real," and plans to have a news conference in the coming days where he will show the full body and release the test results.
Included in Dyer's new additional footage is a wake-style viewing by over 100 people. Feeling vindicated, he already has plans to travel the corpse across North America on a tour that he says will prove he is "The Best Bigfoot Tracker in the World."
