Korn is going cruising! The Grammy Award-winning band will headline a four-knight music festival cruise in September 2014 on the newly upgraded Carnival Cruise Lines ship, Carnival Ecstasy.
The band, from California, will be sailing with Hoobastank and Fuel on the first Rockaholica Cruise. Those big names aren't the only ones that will be joining the trip. The cruise will feature more than ten bands and 30 performances according to organizers.
This cruising festival will give passengers the opportunity to sing with a live band, in a more exciting version of karaoke. The trip will also allow passengers the chance to take pictures with the musicians as well as other special events.
The organizers of the trip will also be holding a band contest through Facebook which allows fans to pick some of the performers that will join the cruise. New bands that are trying to make it will be able to upload a single to try to get a chance to go on the cruise and join the line-up.
The Rockaholica cruise on the Carnival Ecstasy will depart on Sept. 29, 2014 from Miami. It will be making stops in Key West and Cozumel. The cruise returns to Miami on October 3, 2014. Prices for the cruise start at $1,088, double occupancy, including taxes, gratuities and fees. The most expensive option is a stay in the Grand Suite for $2349, plus $189 per person in fees.
The lineup and other details will be updated as it gets closer to cruise time. For
