A passenger claims that a Ryanair flight attendant went on an obscene rant after he turned down some snacks because of the price.
Nadir Morris, 45, says he ordered a snack of two crackers and a piece of cheese, however when he found out that it would cost £4.20, he said he didn't want it. Morris claims that the flight attendant responded by saying "F*** You, This money helps pay for your cheap flights," the Daily Mail reports.
The incident took place on a flight heading from Stansted to Pisa in Italy. Once the flight landed, Morris asked for the flight attendant's name so that he could make a complaint. Morris says not only did the flight attendant refuse, they also tried to push him off of the plane.
Morris told the attendant that he was recording the conversation on his cell phone, which caused the flight attendant to explode further, saying "F*** you, F*** you, F*** you. You happy now? Record again, F*** you.' Mr Morris said: 'I couldn't believe it. His reaction was totally unacceptable."
It is reported that the flight attendant has since quit his job.
Although the report sounds outrageous, it's not the first time Ryanair has been accused of mistreating its customers. In a recent survey, Ryanair was ranked on the bottom of 100 businesses when it comes to customer service.
Ryanair spokesman Robin Kiley spoke to The Sun about the latest incident saying, "We were disturbed by this report of such totally unacceptable behaviour. While we are investigating this incident, the individual in question has resigned from Ryanair. We sincerely and unreservedly apologise to the passenger in question."
