In a sneak peek to this week's scandalous episode, we can her Olivia saying, "My mother... she is alive. She is here. What do I do?" And yes Momma Pope and Liv are finally reunited but it will take a lot of explaining in order for Olivia to snap out of her shocked state as seen on the preview. Teasers hinted that Abby will most likely think that Jack and Huck are liable behind Liv's mother's return, but the two will deny everything. Then, Abby will commence the interrogation, but it won't take long before Momma Pope start to reveal what really happened many years ago, and she is now unafraid to reveal what she found out about her husband and the things he did and perhaps continue to do for a living. In one of the sneak peeks, Mom Pope could be heard explaining that Rowan captured her and kept her locked down under a fake name, "Omar Dresden." But wait, there's more. The preview also reveals Huck holding a torture device which he might be using on Quinn. However, before we could even get a hold of whether he is indeed going to do some torturing, a huge explosion is seen at the end of the clip. On other news, actor Tony Goldwyn, who plays President Fitz, took the helm in directing this Thursday night's episode titled "YOLO," and Goldwyn has revealed to The Hollywood Reporter his memorable experience in directing the episode. "Directing a show that I have been a part of from the beginning is going to be a new experience," he said, adding, "The best part will be entering the world of Olivia Pope & Associates, which Fitz is pretty much walled off from."
Meanwhile, TV Line has revealed recently that the Scandal team is casting for a new character named Andrew, who is described as "handsome and charismatic" and is believed to be Mellie's new love interest for this season.
