Jillian Michaels was caught cheating, which resulted in good news for Ruben Studdard.
Michaels didn't cheat on her partner, Heidi Rhoades. But she did cheat on The Biggest Loser.
Last night's episode of the weight loss TV show started a little differently. Alison Sweeney announced that Jillian Michaels cheated by breaking well known rules on the show. As a result, last week's episode has been invalidated, meaning American Idol winner Ruben Studdard, who was kicked off the show last week,
has been given another shot at becoming The Biggest Loser.
In her announcement, Sweeney said, "Before you all step on the scale, there is something important that needs to be addressed. Last week, Jillian broke the rules and gave caffeine supplements to each member of her team without doctor's permission."
"Because of this rules violation, Jillian has been penalized and the white team will receive a four pound disadvantage on the scale tonight."
The outcome of the previous episode is now null and void and Bob Harper's Blue Team once again has immunity. The Red Team received a one pound penalty per member, setting them back four pounds.
Michaels didn't apologize for what she did. She stood by her move, but admitted to having one regret.
"I stand by my opinion. A caffeine supplement is significantly healthier than unlimited amounts of coffee," she said. "My only regret is that my team, they're the ones suffering the consequences of my professional opinion."
While Studdard was on the show, he was able to lose 39 pounds. With his return, he will have another shot at losing even more.
