In honor of the military for Veterans Day 2013, a Florida hotel is offering free stays to active-duty military members.
The Historic Riverview Hotel & Spa located in the seaside town of New Smyrna Beach, Florida is commemorating Veterans day in a special way this season. The hotel, which is just an hour away from Walt Disney World, was builty in 1885, twenty years after the Civil War and decades before further wars.
The small, luxury boutique 18-room hotel is giving away 111 free hotel room nights the he first active-duty military that calls to make a reservation at the hotel. One free night will be available per person.
"This is a way for all of us at the Riverview Hotel & Spa to give something back to those who give so much everyday," General manager William Heller said in a press release.
The free stay can be booked starting at 9 a.m. on Veterans day, November 11, 2013 by calling 1-386-428-5858. Any night except Fridays, Saturdays and blackout dates can be booked at the hotel. The offer is available for one free night per active-duty military member in the US Military. The dates available are from November through early February, and active military ID is required at check in.
Veterans and non-active military members are also being offered a special deal of 20 percent off room rates during 2013 and 2014.
