Want to get from New York to London on a budget? Starting in July 2014 a budget airline called Norwegian will offer an extremely low rate for flights from the U.S. to London, England. Going from New York, Los Angeles and Fort Lauderdale, flights will go for £149 which is only $240.

"Travelers on Norwegian's long-haul flights will fly on new Boeing Dreamliners. The airline will offer seat-back in-flight entertainment systems for free, but charge extra (£30, approximately $50) for a package that will include meals, luggage and reserved seating.
Even with the added charge for amenities, Norwegian's flights will still be a steal. According to Skyscanner, the cheapest flight to London last month was £349 or $565," reported The Huffington Post.
Other airlines that currently fly from London to New York include Virgin Atlantic, British Airways but they all charge much higher than Norwegian would.
"There's great demand for high-quality flights at a low fare between the UK and the US, particularly to and from Gatwick," Bjorn Kjos, Norwegian's chief executive, said according to The Huffington Post. "It shows the benefits to passengers of Gatwick competing with Heathrow on routes, price and service."
The airline also has a cheap flight to Norway. The airline website states, From 2013/2014 Norwegian will take you nonstop to Oslo with their brand new Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. Norwegian operates from New York (JFK), Orlando, Los Angeles, Oakland-San Francisco and Fort Lauderdale-Florida. Enjoy the capital of Norway and the beautiful sceneries this country has to offer.
The airline has plans for three weekly flights from New York to London and flights two days a week from Los Angeles and Fort Lauderdale.
