Attacking a flight attendant during never turns out well. A 23-year-old woman learned that lesson after throwing her cell phone at an unnamed flight attendant before going on to attack him.
The woman was removed from the Miami-bound US Airways flight at Philadelphia International Airport on Monday morning after assaulting the flight attendant. The incident occurred at around 10:00 a.m., ABC reports.
Sasha Anderson of Philadelphia reportedly threw her cell phone at the man and then went on to slap him and scratch his face.
The woman was removed from the flight and taken into custody. She was arrested by Tinicum Township police. She was charged with simple assault, reckless endangerment, harassment and disorderly conduct.
According to police, the other passengers on Flight 2051 were afraid to take off due to the disruptive behavior of the woman on the flight. After the woman was removed, the flight took off about an hour and a half later. Anderson is currently free and is awaiting her summons.
The flight attendant who was attacked suffered from a minor scratch to his face, according to police.
