Kate Middleton Says Her Childbirth was 'Perfect'

Kate Middleton who recently gave birth to her first child reportedly told close friends that it was a perfect birth. US Weekly reported that a source told Vanity Fair reporter Katie Nicholl, that

"She spoke to some of her best girlfriends after the birth and described the birth as perfect."

"She said it was straightforward and there were no complications. She wanted a natural birth and she was so happy she was able to have one."

Kate gave birth to her baby Prince George on July 22.

"Throughout her first pregnancy, Middleton, 31, only looked pregnant from the front with a perfect baby bump. One day after giving birth, she made her first appearance to introduce George to the world outside the Lindo Wing at St. Mary's Hospital," reported US Weekly.

The couple showed their baby to the world for the first time on outside St. Mary's Hospital in London where Middleton gave birth.

ABC News reported that Middleton stood outside holding her baby son wearing a pale, baby blue dress with white polka dots.

Glamour UK reported that the dress was from designer Jenny Packham. 31 years ago, Princess Diana emerged from the same hospital holding her son Prince William also wearing a flow dress with white polka dots.

The baby was born yesterday and was 8 pounds and 6 ounces. They have not yet announced what the baby's name will be. William said to the crowd according to ABC News, "He's got a good pair of lungs. That's for sure," and that " He's a big boy. He's quite heavy. We're still working on a name, so we'll have that as soon as we can."

"It's the first time we've seen him, really, so we're having a proper chance to catch up," a smiling William added.

Kate said that "It's very emotional" and that "It's such a special time. I think any parent will know what this feeling feels like."

William also joked about the baby's hair and said, "He's got way more than me, thank God."

Before the couple went back into the hospital Prince William said, "I will remind him of his tardiness when he's a little older because I know how long you've all been standing out here. I hope you guys can get back to normal now and we can look after him."
