Liam Hemsworth is reportedly done with Miley Cyrus. He's looking to get out of their engagement after Cyrus' shocking performance on the MTV Video Music Awards.
According to US Magazine, the on-again-off-again couple is is "just weeks away from calling it off permanently," a source said.
"He is over her and wants to make a clean break," the source told US. "No more back and forth."
Another source said that Hemsworth found his fiance's performance to be "mortifying." Cyrus put on a provocative performance in which she wore very little, stuck out her tongue a whole lot, grinded against Robin Thicke and made crude gestures with a giant foam finger.
"The VMAs is the straw that will break him. He wants out of the relationship. All of his family and management are begging him to break it off and publicly move on," a source told Perez Hilton.
The 23-year-old Hemsworth and 20-year-old Cyrus have been on the rocks in recent months. They last made a public appearance on the red carpet on Thursday, Aug. 8th, but a source told US that the couple "acted as if they were strangers."
The pair still live in Cyrus' home in Toluca Lake in Los Angeles, but sources say they're more like roommates than a couple. "They're not even sleeping in the same room," the source said.
It's rumored that Cyrus wouldn't mind if the relationship came to an end. Hemsworth has been spending a lot of his time with his family lately.
