A couple was arrested after they decided to perform "lewd, indecent and obscene" sex acts right in the middle of a flight to Las Vegas in full view of families and children.
Jessica Stroble, 33, and Christopher Martin were arrested when they Allegiant Airlines flight from Medford, Oregon landed in Las Vegas, the Daily Mail reports.
Passengers, including children, watched as the woman became intimate with Martin and began to perform oral sex on him shortly after the plane took off. A mother complained to the staff saying, "This is not the sex education I wanted to give my teenage sons."
According to court paper on the website The Smoking Gun, the couple then engaged in a second sex act halfway through the hour and a half flight and wouldn't stop even when confronted by airline staff. They only took a break when they were brought drinks and snacks on the plane, but they resumed their behavior right after.
During the second incident, Stroble exposed herself and their behavior became even more steamy. A passenger described Martin as "in his own world" as the couple carried out the act.
When The Smoking Gun approached the beauty salon worker, she denied that anything happened and said she didn't know there was court action against her. She wouldn't give any details of her relationship for Martin, but said they're not married.
If the couple is found guilty, they could face up to 90 days in jail plus a fine.
While it may be shocking behavior, this isn't the first time a couple was arrested for trying to get busy on board. An Australian couple was arrested in 2010 after being caught having sex in the bathroom of a Jetstar plane. The couple was arrested after the man became abusive towards the crew. He was charged with disorderly conduct while his partner was released.
A British couple was arrested when they were caught having sex in the bathroom in 2007. The flight had to be diverted, which cost £12,000. They had to be restrained on the British Airways flight from Jamaica. A judge said their behavior caused fear among passengers. The man was jailed for 12 months and the woman was jailed for three months.
