Google Street View has once again expanded their purview, which now includes a full tour inside an Emirates Airbus A380, according to CNN.
The new tour allows viewers to look around an empty aircraft, including the escape ropes in the cockpit and the economy seats on the lower deck. The tour also includes the Business Class bar and the First Class showers, located on the top deck of the aircraft.
Emirates Airline, based in Dubai, marked five years of flying the A380 this year, by opening a dedicated A380 concourse at Dubai airport.
"Five swift years have gone by since Emirates changed the face of air travel with this remarkable aircraft," Tim Clark, the President of Emirates Airline, said in a statement to the press. "Its popularity is now firmly rooted across our six continent network."
The airline flew their first A380 flight in August 2008. Since that time, they have loaded four million bread rolls onto their superjumbo planes from their base in Dubai, as well as over 157,000 fresh flower displays, 538,500 baby food jars and over one million toothbrushes and over four million teabags, according to the airline.
Emirates flies to 21 destinations on a fleet of 35 aircraft. They also have nine other international airlines with aircraft in their fleet. The latest airline to join this partnership is British Airways, which joined last month. The British carrier will use Emirates jets on flights from London to Los Angeles and from London to Hong Kong, beginning in October.
The A380 has a wingspan of 79.8 meters and a length of 72 meters, making it the biggest passenger jet in the sky. It has the capacity to carry up to 517 people and can cover 9,320 miles in a single journey.
Boeing launched the latest version of its largest jet last year, the 747-8. It hold up to 467 people and the aircraft produces 15 percent less emissions and is 30 percent quieter than the old 747-400, according to the manufacturers.
