The group garnered popularity in the 80s and 90s and Flav has also starred in his own reality tv show, "Flavor of Love," where eager women competed for his love and he searched for the right romantic partner.

The restaurant was reportedly first evicted in June but a motion of stasy wa filed to temporarily stop the closure.

The restaurant served up favorites such as BBQ ribs to buffalo wings and Belgian waffles. The restaurant's Facebook page claims that they will be relocationg saying, "No worries we are relocating!!! Stay tuned for our official announcement later this evening!!!"

E! News reported that Flav's restaurant Flav's Fried Chicken in Iowa and House of Flavor in Las Vegas both closed down within six months of opening.

In October, Flavor Flav was arrested in Las Vegas due to domestic dispute with his fiance. The Associated Press reported that Flavor Flav was arrested with both misdemeanor and felony charges after he was arguing with his fiance and threatened her son, who is a teenager with a knife.

No one was injured in the dispute and Las Vegas Police said to the AP that he was arrested around 3:30 a.m. near the Vegas strip at a home.

The AP reports that Flav already has a criminal history which includes serving a month in jail for assaulting a former girlfriend in 1991 and he spent three months in jail after he shot a neighbor in New York in 1993.

He has also been arrested in 2011 for unpaid traffic warrants, the AP reported.
