When flying on a plane, strangers are packed into close quarters with people they don't know, which means things can get uncomfortable. One man's plane neighbor got so comfortable that she decided to take a nap and use him as a pillow. As a result. the man recorded the situation in a hilarious video which has gone viral on YouTube.
Steve Cullum was flying across the East Coast when he had a battle with a very tired woman. Cullum recorded the situation, describing her as very sleepy as soon as she got on the flight. The woman feel asleep immediately and used his lap as a pillow. He found some humor in the situation and decided to film his struggle to get her off of him and post it to YouTube.
"As soon as she sat down, she started falling asleep, and it only got worse as the flight continued," said Cullum. "I tried lifting her up, shaking her, and startling her, but it seemed like nothing was going to work."
Some said that the video must have been staged, but Cullum stands by it and says that no flight attendants could help him due to heavy turbulence. Everyone had to remain seated.
Denying that his video was staged, Cullum said that due to turbulence, no flight attendants could assist him as everyone on the plane had to remain seated.
"They told us not to use our call buttons unless it was a medical emergency," said Cullum on his YouTube page.
Cullum eventually got the woman to move off of him, but she soon made her other neighbor on the other side of the three seat row and feel asleep on him instead.
The video, which was posted to YouTube on July 11 has been viewed more than 208,000 times.
