A new Legoland Water Park is set to open in Malaysia in October. CNN Travel reported that it will be Asia's first Legoland Water Park and will include 20 different attractions and 70 models.
To date there are two other Legoland Water Parks one in California and one in Florida.
"Apart from the usual water slides and pools, one of the coolest attractions set for the Malaysia park is the "Build-A-Raft River," where kids can put together their own raft made of soft Lego bricks and float down a lazy river," reported CNN Travel.
The Legoland website stated that almost everything at the park is hands on so you can push and pull things and it is an interactive experience.
"LEGOLAND Malaysia has seven themed areas of attractions for all ages such as The Beginning, LEGO® Technic, LEGO Kingdoms, Imagination, LEGO City, Land of Adventure and MINILAND. It's an inspirational land where the children are the heroes. From LEGO experiment centres to rollercoasters, the park is a day-long voyage of discovery for all the family."
In the center of the park is MINILAND, which uses over 30 million Lego bricks. It's also interactive where people, airplanes and trains come to life.
There will also be restaurants at Legoland Water Park and private cabanas as well as a store. It's currently 70 percent complete and is an addition to the Legoland Malaysia Resort which is located in Iskandar.
"About 50 kilometers away from central Singapore, the 30-hectare theme park is made up of more than than 50 million bricks and has 40 rides, shows and attractions," reported CNN Travel. It's the sixth theme Legoland theme park in the world which includes properties also in Denmark, German and England.
According to CNN Legoland said the park is ideal for kids ages 2-12.
