InterContinental Hotels has opened an InterContinental in Osaka, Japan.
The hotel is in the center of the commercial development, Grand Front Osaka.
The development is a landmark in the city which has office buildings, a convention centre, stores, residences and entertainment facilities, reported breakingtravelnews.com.
The new hotel is stunning and offers amazing views of the city from the hotel's 20th floor lobby.
"The hotel has a total of 215 guest rooms, averaging more than 50sqm each, while the InterContinental Residences located in the same building has a further 57 serviced and fully-furnished residential suites," reported breakingtravelnews.com.
The hotel also has four meeting and event spaces with views of greenery and water as well as a wedding chapel. A health and fitness center is open 24 hours and of course there isa luxury spa and indoor pool.

The hotel also offers a French restaurant, Pierre, and a brasserie called Noka. The bar, Adee, has signature cocktails and an impressive wine list. The lobby lounge also serves fresh pastries at its patisserie..
The Intercontinental brand is also expanding in New York City with another EVEN hotel, a hotel branded to focus on wellness and fitness. The hotel is owned by InterContinental Hotel Group and they have recently signed a deal to open a second location in Midtown Manhattan.
"We believe that there's a huge niche for this kind of traveler," Joel Eisemann, IHG's chief development officer, told USA Today. "There are a lot of travelers out there in the mainstream traveling public that are looking for ... the type of product we are launching with EVEN Hotels."
