Did a UFO Hit and Dent an Air China Flight? [VIDEO]

A mysterious object may have hit and dented an Air China plane this week, forcing it to make an emergency landing. Some are speculating that a UFO may have damaged the jet.

The Boeing 757 plane was flying 26,000 feet over China when the pilots heard a loud thud. The pilot called air traffic controllers right away and they gave him permission to land at a nearby airfield. When the plane was grounded, staff saw the huge dent in the nose of the plane.

Some officials who inspected the plane don't think the dent was caused by a bird strike, but something bigger like an UFO or a drone strike. Some say the plane will have evidence on the nose.

"Whatever struck the aircraft will have left evidence," former government UFO investigator Nick Pope told The Sun. "Analysis of the damaged nose cone should reveal microscopic traces of whatever struck the aircraft, or possibly even larger pieces of debris. So this is a solvable mystery.

"The only question is, will the notoriously secretive Chinese authorities reveal the truth about what happened?" Pope told The Sun. "Cases like this show that whatever people believe about UFOs, there are serious air safety issues here. MoD and CAA files contain dozens of reports of near misses between UFOs and commercial aircraft.

"It's only a matter of time before there's a catastrophe," Pope continued. "From the look of the photos, this disturbing incident came very close to blowing this aircraft out of the sky."

Some also believe that the damage was caused by pressure from rapidly heated and expanded air.

The Air China flight was flying from the Chengdu to Guangzhou when the thud was heard about 20 minutes into the flight. Despite the extent of the damage, no passengers or crew members were hurt in the mysterious incident.

Air China did not respond to questions about what caused the damage. This incident comes a few days after passengers claimed to have close calls with flying saucers above Britain's scientology HQ.
