Fan favorite couple Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have reportedly broken up again, according to a report in People magazine.
The couple was inseparable a few weeks ago, and attended Coachella together in April, but reportedly grew distant after Pattinson returned to Los Angeles from New York on May 8.
"They again went from spending every second together, to spending more time apart at their separate houses," a source told People. "Kristen has been in a terrible mood, and it was obvious that things were not great with Rob."
It was an ominous sign when Pattinson turned 27 on May 13, and Stewart, 23, was absent from the celebrations.
"It was very strange that they didn't celebrate Rob's birthday together," the source said. "He had friends over at his house, but Kristen was not part of the celebration.
"For the past few days, they have not spent any time together," the source continued.
The couple had been "having problems" and "fighting a lot," according to a source who spoke to US Weekly, which backs up the report from People magazine.
Stewart is reportedly reacting similarly to the way she did when they temporarily broke up after Stewart had an indiscretion with her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director, Rupert Sanders, when the two of them were photographed kissing in various locations in Los Angeles.
"Kristen "[hasn't left] her house for days, but [has] surrounded herself with friends 24/7," the source said.
It may not be over for good, according to the source, who said, "It would not be surprising" if the former co-stars got back together again.
The pair shot to fame when they starred as Bella Swan and Edward Cullen in the hugely successful "Twilight" franchise, and reportedly began dating sometime between the filming of the first and second installments of the series.
