A woman claims that she was kicked off a flight because her kids were crying.
Passy Kepoali says she'll never fly on Delta Airlines again after the way she was treated. She was flying of Oklahoma from Montreal with her twin 3-year-old boys to attend her nephew's graduation at the University of Oklahoma.
"When I get on the plane, my kids started to cry," Kepoali told News 9.
Kepoali says that her twins were crying and acting up so much that flight attendants had her and her children removed from the flight before the plane took off.
Kepoali said the flight attendants made her feel "like a criminal."
"They took her luggage without even telling her what was going on," said Kepoali's nephew, Jeff Sankeu told News 9.
Delta released a statement to News 9 about the incident. They said the flight was operated Pinnacle airlines. The statement reads:
"Pinnacle Airlines started to taxi but returned to the gate after a small child would not remain seated. The crew followed established guidelines and requested a gate return due to safety concerns."
Keprali and her family flew of Oklahoma the following day. Her return flights haven't been any easier. She was told that she was too late for two Delta flights home. Her luggage was put on the plane but her and her kids were not able to board.
"They have no clothes. I have to wash everything today so they have something to wear," says Kepoali about her twins.
Kepoali is looking to file a formal complaint against the airline and she is considering taking legal action against Delta because of the way that she said she was treated.
Delta apologized for the inconvenience. They're encouraging Kepoali to reach out to them directly so they can handle the situation properly.
