Eminem Stabbed? Internet Hoax Claims Rapper Left For Dead After Being Stabbed 4 Times in NYC

Eminem was stabbed four times and left for dead in New York City. At least that's what social media sites are saying. However the rapper is just fine. The rumors are nothing more than an Internet hoax.

Fans started seeing messages about Eminem being stabbed four times while in New York City. Some have even seen a photo which makes it seem more real, even though the photo doesn't show Eminem's face. However Eminem is just fine.

If you come across this message, do not click it! It is a spam message. The link grabs people's attention and causes them to click it but it is designed to lure victims into completing survey or reward offer scams that are made for harvesting a user's personal information.

This scam is done because the scammer gets paid every time someone completes a survey and they also get away with personal information which could be used in other ways.

This message about Eminem being stabbed isn't new. It was going around in 2011, November 2012 and now it's making waves again, causing "Eminem stabbed" to become a trend on Twitter.

Some fans took to Twitter to question and share the rumor. Some examples of tweets include:

"Is this true, just heard that rapper Eminem was stabbed 4 times and left for dead in NYC?

"Whats with that eminem stabbed in NYC is that true what"

"Eminem stabbed 4times! This can't be true?"

However not everyone was confused. Some quickly found that it was a hoax and asked people to stop spreading the story.

"If you click on that spam Facebook post about "Eminem getting stabbed", you're an idiot."

"Got majorly panicked. I saw something on Facebook about Eminem being stabbed 4 times in NY and being left nearly dead.. But it's just a hoax."

"Old (fake) story doing rounds on social networks about #Eminem. He HAS NOT been stabbed. Please share, before this gets out of hand."

Eminem hasn't nearly died but he is currently working on a new album.
