A crazed fan attacked Justin Bieber on Sunday when the fan stormed onstage and grabbed the singer from behind during a concert performance in Dubai, according to the Daily Mail.
The singer, 19, was performing one of his last songs of the show, "Believe," a performance at the piano, when the young male fan, wearing a white shirt and jeans, ran up behind Bieber and grabbed the singer, knocking the piano over in the process.
"The security guards tussled with the offender who pushed the piano off its hinges, rendering it unplayable for the remainder of the show," according to fans who spoke to the National.
Bieber was able to extricate himself from the fan and ran to the side of the stage as security guards restrained the fan.
The singer then returned to the stage with his band and finished the performance while the fan was taken off stage. Bieber even returned for a two-song encore.
"A young fan desperate to meet his idol did make his way onstage, but was immediately removed and Justin professionally continued with his show," Thomas Ovesen, an executive director at Done Events, told the National about the incident. "As far as we know, no further action has been taken against the youth."
"Dubai. Nothing stops the show," Bieber took to his Twitter account after the show to tweet. "2 more to go."
The concert followed a performance in Dubai on Saturday, where Bieber skipped the song "One Less Lonely Girl" to be respectful of the Muslim culture, which doesn't approve of men touching women who are not their relatives.
He also arrived to the gig two hours late, causing the parents of some fans to get very upset.
"I think it is disgusting that he can be over two hours late and he keeps on doing it," Rachael Quborsi told Sky News after her 11-year-old daughter returned home from the concert at 12:45 a.m. "Who do these pop stars think they are?"
The tour will continue with shows in the United States in June.
In the video of the attack, a girl can be heard screaming, "Justin! Oh my God! Are you okay?"
