Restaurants are a good place to take a loved one on a date, but they can also be a place to take someone that you're having an extramarital affair with. Cheating website, AshleyMadison.com came up with a list of the top restaurants in New York City for having an extramarital rendezvous.

According to the survey, food is only the fourth most important factor when looking for a restaurant to cheat in. Location is the top priority. The site, which is created for those who are in relationships, surveyed 4,852 people around the tri-state area to ask them where their favorite place to bring someone they're cheating with to. The survey revealed that most people prefer chain steakhouses such as Morton's and the Palm.

"Steak houses are a popular affair destination, no matter the city. They're dimly lit and can be more easily excused as a business meeting if necessary," AshleyMadison.com's Founder & CEO Noel Biderman said.

The top spot for a rendezvous in New York is the W Hotel's Blue Fin. Morton's and Cipriani follow.
