Aniston Prenup: Actress Won't Sign Marital Agreement BeforeTying Knot with Justin Theroux

Jennifer Aniston has decided against a pre-nuptial agreement for her upcoming wedding to actor and screenwriter Justin Theroux.

Theroux has been a successful working actor, but Aniston is much more financially secure as a result of the earnings she made during her time on the NBC sitcom "Friends". Theroux suggested the pre-nuptial agreement, according to the Inquisitr, but Aniston declined.

"She told several friends, 'I'm choosing love, not money and people are just going to have to deal with it,'" according to OK! Magazine. "Jen's absolutely adamant about not having a prenup.

"I couldn't be in a relationship without equality, generosity, integrity, spirit, kindness and humor," Aniston said.

Aniston was ranked No.10 on the list of Forbes 20 richest women in entertainment in 2007, with an estimated net worth listed at $110 million. Aniston has earned several large paychecks since then as well, starring in many big budget films and launching a perfume line.

Theroux's net worth is estimated to be about $10.5 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

"Who wouldn't want to be a bazillionaire, but I don't really regret it," Theroux told Entertainment Weekly in an interview in 2004, where he discussed turning down a screen test for the "Friends" pilot.

He has also said he prefers writing to acting, having written the screenplays for "Rock of Ages," "Iron Man 2" and "Tropic Thunder".

"It's a sweet and romantic thing to do," friends of the actress told Hollywood Life. "But a number of friends are desperately worried her decision could come back to haunt her one day."

Aniston and Theroux met while he was writing "Tropic Thunder" but didn't start dating until 2011, according to Aniston.

The couple was expected to get married this month, but the wedding is rumored to have been postponed due to scheduling issues that have made planning difficult.
