Bursting onto the music scene at the ripe age of 13, Leann Rimes successfully strayed away from appearing on the cover of tabloid magazines and having her names embroiled in scandal, but since meeting her current husband, Eddie Cibrian on the set of TV movie "Northern Lights," all has changed.
"It's definitely been a turbulent four years and to say I've been on several rollercoasters [sic] is an understatement," the singer told the Daily Mail.
She also admitted that all of her recent troubles helped create the songs for her new album, "Spitfire," which was released on April 15.
"I think the last four years of my life just came out through my music," Rimes said to Daily Mail. "I don't think I expected the album to be this honest, but I found that the emotions just came pouring out of me. It was liberating and cathartic to write, but it wasn't easy."
Her relationship issues isn't the only thing that the singer/songwriter has been criticized about--rumors have been going around that her weight lose is due to her suffering from an eating disorder.
Rimes is pictured above, left, in a recent Twitter photo. Make the assumption yourself.
"People said I was [anorexic] but I didn't have a problem with eating, as I ate a ton all the time -- I could eat my husband under the table," said Rimes to Daily Mail. "But I was going through a time when I just wasn't sleeping -- my mind wouldn't shut off and my heart was breaking."
She added, "now I'm secure about my body, although I'm like any other woman and have my moments of self doubt. But it's nice to have a husband who tells you you're beautiful all the time. I'll say to him, 'I've gained a few pounds' and he'll say, 'Good,'" according to Daily Mail.
