John Cena defeated Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson at WrestleMania 29 on Sunday to become the new WWE champion.
Other big matches at the event included the Tombstone Pin, during which Undertaker defeated C.M. Bunk, and the Pedigree Pin, where Triple H topped Lesnar.
About 75,000 fans from all over the world attended the event at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
"This is the Super Bowl of professional wrestling, this is it," a fan told 1010 WINS' Glenn Schuck. "It doesn't get any bigger than this, this is it.
"This is off my bucket list, WrestleMania," he said.
The parking lot opened at 11:30 a.m. and fans were already starting to arrive.
"I gotta get here that early," Mike Goldberg, a fan from upstate New York, who arrived before dawn to secure his spot, told 1010 WINS's Glenn Schuck. "You have no idea. I've been watching this since I was five, I'm in to it."
Another fan from Milford, Connecticut was there to support his favorite wrestler, The Rock.
"It's all about The Rock," the fan told Schuck. "Bring prestige back to the title and show everyone how it's done."
Cena walked out to boos from the crowd and greeted co-host of "Live With Kelly and Michael" and NFL star Michael Strahan, who was seated ringside. He then ran the ropes as the music started before WWE Champion The Rock came out.
After the match ended, Cena was given the WWE Title belt. The two men exchanged friendly words, shake hands and hug. The Rock told his fans he loved them before exiting the stage to greet his mother, daughter and girlfriend.
The two men ended the match with professional sportsmanship, saluting each other and raising each other's hands as fireworks went off in the stadium.
