Any desire to take a helicopter over Hawaii's Kona-Kohala Coast? How about a trip to ancient temples in Thailand? And let's up the ante here: you'll also be in a private jet with 55 other passengers. Sound appealing?
For a cool $62,950 ticket, you can have all this and more, with the Four Seasons' new luxury tours, set for release in 2014.
The two new tours, Rediscover the Americas and Around the World, allow 56 travelers the trip of a lifetime: voyagers embark on a private Boeing 757, usually seating 200 passengers on commercial flights, offering a private chef, trip managers, luggage handlers, and even an on-board physician. The Four Seasons has souped-up its planes, turning seating into two-by-two rows with comfortable cushioning. WiFi and a Four Seasons concierge office will also be available on the jet.
If a traveler chooses the Rediscover the Americas tour, they will have the opportunity to explore beaches, rainforests and river deltas in both North and South America. Fliers will embark from Miami and land in Los Angeles, hitting the islands St. Kitts and Nevis in the Carribean, Buenos Aires, Uruguay, Costa Rica, and Mexico along the way. Whale watching, ziplining and horseback riding, and munching through delectable local fare are among the activities offered.
The Around the World tour consists of 10 "legendary destinations," touts the Four Seasons website. The tour departs from Los Angeles after a welcome dinner at the Beverley Wilshire in Beverley Hills.
Kona, Hawaii, is the first stop, where travelers stay at a beachside resort, take helicopter rides over the endless white sand, go snorkeling, paddle boarding, and visit a local coffee plantation.
Bora Bora is next up, then Sydney Australia, a location where travelers will surely enjoy learning to surf at Bondi Beach, and onto Bali, Indonesia. Chiang Mai is another destination, where tourists can ride elephants through the many forests of this majestic land.
Following stop: Taj Mahal. Then Istanbul. Is your head spinning yet?
The voyage ends in London, after an 18-day whirlwind of luxury and experience.
