Justin Bieber's pet monkey has been put in quarantine at the Munich airport.
Yes, that's right: pet monkey.
The 19-year-old Canadian singer tried to bring his pet monkey through customs when he landed in Germany Friday evening for his European leg of tour, but the country's health officials wouldn't allow it.
Bieber didn't have the proper paperwork to fly such an animal into another country. He was subsequently detained at the airport and the monkey was later confiscated.
Bieber will have to pay a $15,000 fine and whatever additional costs it will require German officials to take care of the pet capuchin Monkey, named Mally.
The "Somebody to Love" singer received Mally as a gift from his record producer Jamal Rashid, also known as Mally Mall, according to the Daily Mail.
Apparently, Bieber and his pet monkey are frequent travel companions, as one source informed the Daily Mail the singer and his animal are attached at the hip.
"He and Mally go everywhere together," a source told the website. "He will be heartbroken."
After performing late Thursday, Bieber took to Twitter, posting this tweet: "Munich was a good time. And loud. The bus is headed to Vienna now. U coming?" with no mention of Mally the Monkey in sight.
Bieber's behavior has been somewhat erratic and strange the past couple of days.
The pop star reportedly spit in a neighbor's face after the guy came to Bieber's house to complain about party noise.
In London, Beiber fainted backstage at a show, was hospitalized, then got into a squabble with a paparazzo.
According to the Huffington Post, Bieber also was booed by fans when he showed up very tardy to one of his own concerts.
Spitting at a neighbor, fighting with photographers, wielding a monkey at an overseas airport with no paperwork-what's next, Biebs?
