Sean Penn's 19-year-old son, Hopper, got violent with a paparazzo in Beverly Hills Tuesday, shoving the photographer and calling him a "f-----t" and a "n---."
The entire altercation was caught on video, as Hopper followed his father into the entrance of a medical facility.
Sean remained calm, casually sporting a sweat suit, trucker hat, and slicked back ponytail, as he walked into the building without a word, amidst flashes and overbearing clicks.
Hopper followed quickly and pushed the photog, saying, "are you f------ kidding me?"
"Yo, are you kidding me?" the paparazzo shouted back. "Don't play yourself, don't ever do that, dude! Don't do that to yourself! You remember, you're a kid!"
As he paces down the hallway, Hopper, with black hood up, flipped off the photographer and said, "F--- you fool, you're a f------ f----t!"
"That's the kind of talk you're teaching him, Sean?" the paparazzo yelled.
"Shut up, you f------ n-----," Hopper said, to which the photographer said, "Oh word??"
Nearby police officers overheard the scuffle and showed up to the scene. The photographer merely waved it off as a verbal argument, and did not press charges. No one was cited, according to TMZ.
Hopper later released a statement, apologizing for his unruly actions.
"I was accosted by paparazzi and made to feel like an animal-threatened and under attack," he said, "but that does not condone my own actions. I deeply regret my choice of words."
This is certainly not the first time a squabble has occurred between celebrity and paparazzi. Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus and Kanye West are among the many who have completely lost it in the face of a camera on the street. In fact, in 2009, Sean kicked a paparazzo who was photographing the actor outside his home.
"Get the f---- out!" He said harshly, simultaneously kicking and slapping the photog. "Get the f--- out!"
"These celebrities are human beings after all, who sometimes can't help but flip their lids," online celebrity magazine PopCrush writes.
