The Principality of Monaco will receive a sky-scraping addition in 2014: Tour Odeon.
This five-story penthouse is set to be the world's most expensive property per square foot when it hits the real estate market next year, according to a recent Yahoo article.
The two towering penthouses lie beachside, overlooking the Mediterranean coast, Larvotto Beach and the Liguarian Sea. Measured at 170 meters (roughly 557 feet) high, the tower is the tallest in the immediate area, and offers 70 apartments ranging one to six bedrooms. The penthouse is the true selling point, however, as it boasts 35,521 square feet and a private waterslide that leads to an enormous infinity pool. In addition to the already luxurious accommodations, don't forget the library, movie theater, floor-to-ceiling windows and private terraces-those come along with the package.
Other amenities include Russian and Turkish saunas, private spas and chauffeured limousines. Housekeeping, dry cleaning and valet services are all available on-call by touch screen computers located in residents' abodes. There's even a sealed-off panic room, complete with surveillance cameras.

Construction began in 2009, and the structural framework is said to be done by July of this year, as to meet the 2014 opening deadline.
The buildings were designed by London-based architectural firm Candy & Candy, whose Head of Design, Lee Hallman, recently received the World Interiors News Annual Award 2013.
Monaco is a destination known for high-rolling casinos (including the world-famous Monte Carlo), big-time sports events, (think Grand Prix and the Formula One track on this one), and playgrounds for the rich since the early 1900s. It's no wonder the building is projected to go for a fetching 330 million dollars (256 million Euro) when it goes on the market in 2014.
Monaco is a "magnet for the world's most discerning buyers," touts Odeon Tower's website.
