Seth MacFarlane Splits: 'Family Guy' Creator and ‘Game of Thrones' Actress Emilia Clarke Call it Quits

After annoying about half, if not all of the women in attendance at the Oscars, "Family Guy" creator, Seth MacFarlane finds himself womanless.

E! News reports that the 39-year-old MacFarlane and the 25-year-old "Game of Thrones" star Emilia Clarke, have called it quits.

"They are no longer dating," a source told the website. "It was really a location challenge. She has been in Europe shooting 'Game of Thrones' and he is based in California, so it was hard to make it work despite the distance. They have remained friends."

First parading themselves as a couple around Hollywood in September, they were spotted hanging out at HBO's Emmy after party together at the Los Angeles Pacific Design Center, and were later spotted leaving together. At the time, sources confirmed to US Weekly, that the two had already been seeing each other for a "few months."

Clarke confirmed the breakup, not by words, but actions, walking the red carpet solo at the "Game of Thrones" Season 3 premiere in Los Angeles on Monday night, "but was seen palling about with current and former cast members. She greeted her former 'Thrones' flame Jason Momoa with a great big bear hug. But before any rumors start on that, the former Dothraki horse lord attended the premiere with his wife, Lisa Bonet of 'The Cosby Show'" fame, reported LA Times.

As for MacFarlane, it might be difficult for him to get back into the dating scene and hold onto a relationship, if and when he finds it.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, he said, "It's a pain in the ass because if you date, at a certain point you're in a relationship and at a certain point you're playing the field. It becomes this thing of trying to find places where you can have some privacy, where you're not going to be accosted by people and suddenly linked to someone as if you're in a serious relationship."

Only time will tell what the future holds for the once couple, now "friends."
