Americans, namely New Yorkers, are going under the knife in hopes to get Kate Middleton's nose.

The New York Daily News reported that Kate's nose has become popular in plastic surgeons office for New York women as the city has seen an increased number in requests in the nose.

"A couple of months ago, these women started coming into my office and asking for Kate Middleton's nose," Dr. Stephen T. Greenberg, a Manhattan plastic surgeon said to the Daily News. "It has become so popular that we have made a file of a dozen Kate Middleton pictures to show patients when they come in for their consultation."

Dr. Daniel Shapiro, a plastic surgeon in Arizona said to Fox 10 News about Middleton's nose, "It's kind of in vogue. I have friends that are in Manhattan, it is one of the highest percentage procedures now."

According to Transform Cosmetic Surgery Group, in the UK, the Duchess' nose was the most asked for celebrity facial feature in 2012, showing that it's not just an American or New York based trend.

Carmen Lefevre, a psychologist who works in the study of facial attributes, said to Daily Mail that there could be be a "hard-wired evolutionary preference" for her nose. "The symmetry of Kate's nose, the angle between her lip and the tip of her nose and the minimal amount of nostril on show, are all near-perfect," Lefevre said.

Metro London reported that there has also been a surge in people asking for a bottom like Kate's sister, Pippa Middleton.

Dr Yannis Alexandrides of 111 Harley Street said to Metro "Most of the clients interested in the procedure are in their early 20s and are looking for a more pert feminine shape rather than the usual burlesque bottom."

Consultant plastic surgeon Kevin Hancock said to Metro "The way that patients get the kind of bum like Pippa's is using a technique called fat injections.

We suck the fat from another part of the body such as the tummy and inject it into the buttocks."
