Duggar Burger Bill: TLC Family from '19 Kids and Counting' Racks Up $617 Bill at Bill's Bar & Burger in NYC

TLC stars the Duggar family from the show "19 Kids and Counting," went out for a cheap meal in New York City that ended up being, not so cheap. 23 people in total, Jim Bob Duggar took his huge family out for burgers in New York City at Bill's Bar & Burger. His family includes his wife Michelle and 21 other family members.

The huge family enjoyed burgers, fries, onion rings and shakes at the burger joint spending a whopping $617.

Burgers at the restaurant start at $7.95 and additions can be made for extra meat, other toppings and cheese. They also sell shakes that cost $6, $4 fries and $8 nachos.

The Duggars live in Arkansas. On their family website it states that "To date they have been blessed with 19 children, (10 boys and 9 girls) Joshua (& wife Anna), Jana & John-David (twins), Jill, Jessa, Jinger, Joseph, Josiah, Joy-Anna, Jedidiah & Jeremiah (twins), Jason, James, Justin, Jackson, Johannah, Jennifer, Jordyn-Grace and Josie."

They have also appeared on a number of International and National TV and talk shows including, "The Today Show," "The Early Show," "The View," and more.

Bill's holds its burger to a very high standard and before they opened the first restaurant conducted more than 100 tastings of 20 recipes.

"What we came up with is a throwback. Cooked on a flattop and served in an all-American seeded bun ('the Bill's Classic')- it's what a diner burger might taste like in heaven. The critics have called it 'the burger of my dreams" and "the best thing to happen to freshly ground beef since the kraft single'" said Bill's website.
